Industrial & Logistics Conference

Feedback from the 2022 conference regarding the location and accessibility of the Pullman St Pancras on Euston Road was very positive which is why we returned to the venue on Thursday 18th April for the for 2024 IAS Industrial & Logistics Conference. We were delighted to have sold 400 tickets and thank you to everyone that attended.

IAS events cannot take place without the generosity and continued support of its sponsors. A huge thank you to the agencies that sponsored the conference and the clients who sponsored the drinks reception.

IAS Chairman, Daniel Harness, opened the conference and then introduced the first speaker of the day, Nicole Buttner, entrepreneur, economist and data enthusiast who gave a thought provoking talk on the opportunities that AI can bring to our sector. Following Nicole was a panel discussion on ESG and a presentation from Paul Johnson, Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, who talked on the economic challenges facing the new government.

Following lunch, Maggie Alphonsi MBE who is the face of international women’s rugby, delivered a very inspirational and motivational presentation on how to create a winning mindset. This was followed by Tim Smit, co-founder and Chief Executive of the award-winning Eden Project who gave an incredibly passionate talk on sustainability, life at the Eden Project and the various stages of his life that have lead him to where is in the world today.
